The Griffin Center is the new basketball facility at Lubbock
Christian University. The center will have a seating capacity of approximately 2,200
people. When completed, the building will contain four major locker room areas, a weight
room, training facilities, concession stands, and athletic offices.The HVAC system includes nineteen
rooftop-packaged units totaling 210 tons. Each unit will operate with fresh
air economizer controls and CO2 controls
to maximize energy conservation. The design included a fully automatic fire
sprinkler system and a lighting system designed to meet completion level requirements.
The electrical systems include a standard power distribution
system, a fire alarm system with voice evacuation, and a public address system
designed for
sporting events.

construction documents, and construction administration. |
